We are looking for some Ex NZR Loco Drivers who may be interested in volunteering to drive our DBR Locomotives.
We are also looking for people interested in volunteering to be Guards
on our Trains, full training is provided.

BIKE WAGON TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE
Due to the Rail Trail closures in our area we have temporarily taken our Bike Wagon out of service for maintenance, it shoulld be back in service within the next one to two weeks; during it's unavailability we will not be able to transport E-Bikes, we may be able to transport a limited number of standard bikes but ALL saddle bags must be removed prior to loading for our volunteers health & safety.
PLEASE NOTE:
The last trip from Waikino is only a ONE-WAY trip back to Waihi.
Please be at the stations 30 minutes before departure.
Online Bookings departing from Waikino, tickets will be sent down to Waikino Station with the Guard. Payment to be made at Waihi Station upon arrival.

What about my dog?
All service dogs (i.e. guide dogs for visually impaired, Assistance Dogs etc) that wear a jacket denoting what type of recognised service dog they are, are allowed on both the inside and outside carriages. All other dogs MUST be on a leash at all times and remain on the open carriage.
