The last trip from Waikino is only a ONE-WAY trip back to Waihi.
Please be at the stations 30 minutes before departure.
Online Bookings departing from Waikino, tickets will be sent down to Waikino Station with the Guard. Payment to be made at Waihi Station upon arrival.

What about my dog?
All service dogs (i.e. guide dogs for visually impaired, Assistance Dogs etc) that wear a jacket denoting what type of recognised service dog they are, are allowed on both the inside and outside carriages. All other dogs MUST be on a leash at all times and remain on the open carriage.

Railway Closures
Goldfields Railway is returning to LIMITED service starting Saturday 12th September.
We may not be able to take bikes at this time, please call us on 07 863 9020 to check before bringing your bike to the train; thank you.
